Annie and Peter believe in singing as a transformational tool for community and personal change. Over the decades they have curated thousands of songs that support a truly inclusive society. Their songbooks, Rise Up Singing and Rise Again, have changed the face of community singing in North America.
Pete Seeger
Born in 1919, Pete Seeger was the iconic folksinger of the 20th century, an activist and songwriter who made an impact on all the major social change movements of his era. We filmed him at his home a year before his death in 2014.
